Team Jocelyn

Raised of $5,000

Thank you for visiting our page. This is the 11th year the Duff & Sharp families have sponsored Team Jocelyn in the Run of Hope for Pediatric Brain Tumor Research.

For those of you not familiar with our story, on July 24, 2002 our precious 11 year old daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Jocelyn was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma. When she was diagnosed, the doctors told us there was nothing they could do. We could try radiation and then chemotherapy, this would not save her life, just prolong the inevitable. It was very hard to find any hope with this type of diagnosis. Eight months later on March 24, 2003, Jocelyn lost her courageous battle. By running in the Run for Hope 5k run/3k walk fundraiser for research, we feel we are giving hope to families that find themselves in a similar situation.

Please consider joining or donating to this year’s Team Jocelyn, it’s a wonderful cause and what better way to start your day then with a 5k run or a 3k walk.

Many thanks for your support – and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate or join!
