Dear Family and Friends,
With Covid-19 effecting all of us and especially our brain cancer families, we have chosen to hold the Run of Hope Seattle virtually on September 27th. Cancer has no timeline; children are diagnosed with brain cancer every day. This is the very reason we could not take a year off. We all give hope, that one day there will be a cure for their child. Community is everything.
This year we need your support more than ever, for the ground breaking research to continue right here in Seattle. Research will come to a halt, if the much need funds are not there. We can not let this happen. The current treatment for brain cancer is unacceptable, leaving children with life long disabilities and new medical challenges. Many children do not survive this diagnosis, leaving parents and families with a lifetime of heartaches. With our continued work on the Run of Hope Seattle and the Pediatric Brain Tumor Research Fund, we have seen first hand what a diagnosis of brain cancer does to children and families. It is heartbreaking beyond words.
Please join us for this very important event. We are most grateful for any support you can give at this time.
Take good care,
Mary Pat & Vince Iaci
