Welcome to our Run of Hope team page! We're proud to dedicate our efforts to the groundbreaking research of the Oda Lab at Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Led by Dr. Shannon Oda, this dedicated team is at the forefront of developing innovative T-cell immunotherapies to combat pediatric brain cancers and other challenging tumors.

Dr. Oda, an Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine, focuses on enhancing the effectiveness of adoptive cell therapy (ACT). Her lab engineers T cells to overcome the suppressive tumor microenvironment, aiming to create more powerful and sustained immune responses against cancer cells .
